Team formation rules
Substitutions: If all three scholars on a qualified team from the same Global Round delegation register for the Tournament of Champions, they must do so together. Only if not all qualified scholars from a delegation are able to attend the Tournament of Champions, two-member teams may divide to complete other teams from the same delegation.
Teams of two: A team of two may register and compete as it is. If it would like a third teammate, answer Yes to the matching question.
Solo Scholars: If only one member of a qualified team can participate, register that scholar as a substitute completing a two-person team of your own, or register them alone and answer Yes to the matching question. After you register, your registration page shows others looking for teammates.

Each adult follows one division, with all meals and reserved theater seating. Debate judges serve on their division’s day at a reduced fee, lower still if they also lead the Scavenge; every judge needs an email. Each division allows two adults for every nine scholars.

6Fees & payment
Cancellation policy—refunds before 30 September, credit after
Cancellations. Cancellations prior to 30 September may be refunded with a $150 cancellation fee per scholar. Cancellations after 30 September may be 50% credited toward future participation. Full refunds in the event of unsuccessful visa applications will be offered only for applications demonstrably submitted to a U.S. embassy or consulate by 15 September.
